Career to Date:

Wolverhampton Wanderers

  • Ashley is a product of the Wolves Academy where he first played age 9; he made his debut against Burnley in April 2007 in which the club clinched the Championship title. He signed his 1st professional contract aged 17 in February 2009. He played the following week against Doncaster on the final day of the season and a new 2-year contract was signed at the end of the 2009-10 season

Cheltenham Town

  • Ashley had a month’s loan spell at Cheltenham Town soon after signing his Pro Contract with Wolves, to gain 1st team experience making his debut against Millwall

Torquay Utd

  • A further loan spell at Torquay Utd gave Ashley further 1st Team experience and his goal in the FA Cup v Walsall proved to be the winner


  • At the end of the 2-year deal at Wolves his contract was not renewed, so he signed a 2-year deal at Walsall playing 56 games and scoring 3 goals. Towards the end of the 2-year deal Ashely went on loan to Burton Albion

Burton Albion

  • Ashley made 5 appearances for Burton at the end of the season

Dagenham & Redbridge

  • In July 2014 he signed a 1-year deal with Dagenham & Redbridge, going on to make 80 appearances scoring 9 goals. With Dagenham & Redbridge being relegated to the National League his contract was not renewed

Mansfield Town

  • In June 2016 Ashley signed for Mansfield Town before being released at the end of the 2016-17 season

Boston United

  • Ashley played for Boston United and scored 15 goals in 28 appearances and created lots of assists; his performance won him Player of the Year

Salford City

  • Signed in the May 2018 and played in 6 pre season games before AFC Fylde made a offer for him and was accepted and was transferred in August 2018 before he played in a competitive game for Salford
AFC Fylde
  • Ashley had a slow start to is Fylde career and when out on loan to Altrincham to get first team football, catching the eye with some outstanding performances
Kidderminster Harriers
  • Signed 18 month Contract in October 2019,been ever present, with clubs at higher level admiring his performances
  • Ashley has been one of Kidderminster outstanding performers

International Career

  • England national U17 team making his debut against Iceland in a 2-0 in the opening match at the 2007 nordic cup. He played in all England’s matches at the tournament making 4 appearances
