Zaine Francis-Angol

Zaine joined Boreham Wood following his release from Accrington and went on to make 18 appearances despite the COVID pandemic. It was during this period that Zaine sought full time football and previously playing for Manager Dave Challinor when at AFC Fylde, he signed for Hartlepool United for the remainder of the 2020/21 season.

Zaine made only 5 appearances in the 2019/20 season for Accrington Stanley before agreeing to cancel his contract by mutual consent.

Year: 2017AFC Fylde

Zaine signed a 2 ½ year for AFC Fylde in the National League making 85 appearances and scoring 2 goals. At the end of the 2018/19 season, Zaine was transferred to Accrington Stanley on a 1-year deal.

Year: 2015Kidderminster Harriers

In October 2015, Zaine signed for Kidderminster Harriers on a short-term deal and he scored on his debut in the 1-1 draw with Boreham Wood. His deal was subsequently extended with Zaine making over 60 appearances for Kidderminster Harriers over a 2-year period.

Year: 2011Motherwell FC

In July 2011, Zaine moved to Motherwell FC  playing for the U19’s however failed to make a 1st team appearance that season. His performances for the U19’s earned him a new contract, with him making his debut in the UEFA Champions League 3rd Qualifying Round vs Panathinaikos in August 2012. He renewed his contract in January 2013 until Summer 2015 and scored his first goal in the 5-1 win vs Partick Thistle. He left the club at the end of Summer 2015.

Tottenham Hotspur FC

Zaine started his youth career at Tottenham Hotspur until he was 18.
