George joined Harrogate in May 2017 after a productive season at FC United of Manchester that yielded 20 goals. Impressive for a player who describes himself as more of an attacking Midfielder, who scores goals and creates goals. George managed in 2017/18 seasons George scored 15 goals in gaining promotion through National North playoffs. This season he’s made 36 appearances scoring 8 goals and assists of 8 in the National Premier League making a total of 88 appearances scoring 23 goals and total assists of 21.

George signed a two year extended in March 2020 now played in over 100 appearances and is a consistent performer in midfield or in wide forward areas

He managed a total of 32 goals in 72 appearances during an 18month spell with the Red Rebels who he joined from Chester City,

George moved to Chester in January 2015 from Kings Lynn where he scored 37 goals in 111 games, he was close to signing in summer 2014 after impressing while on trial. He penned a new 12-month contract in May 2016, he featured in 9 of the opening 12 games, but was unable to hold down a regular place in Steve Burr side, left on loan to FC United then signed on a permanent deal after a successful loan spell scoring 5 goals in 8 matches for an undisclosed fee.

George signed as a schoolboy earning a 2-year apprenticeship, the Reds decided not to offer a professional contract despite ending the season there as the successful academy side second top scorer. He was invited to join Glenn Hoddle’s Academy in Spain and spent a season there before going part-time, and moved into Non-League football with Hinckley and Histon, but started to make his name with Kings Lynn in the Northern Premier League.
